Wellness Works' Response to COVID-19

March 14, 2020

Following the recent recommendations from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health (LA DHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Wellness Works will suspend all services and activities starting March 17, 2020.

The Wellness Works staff and practitioners will be coordinating services for clients, and will be taking all opportunities to provide remote services. We want to ensure that our community is safe and healthy.

We will continue to monitor the health recommendations coming from LA DHS and the CDC regarding coronavirus.

For more information regarding coronavirus please visit the CDC COVID-19 website

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Lori Mizuno, Executive Director at lmizuno@wellnessworksglendale.org. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

At Wellness Works, we have been providing services in our community for more than 30 years and have been honored to serve veterans and our active military members and their families for the last decade.  We are a nonprofit organization that provides holistic, alternative and emerging healing modalities to treat post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and military sexual trauma.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with an array of practitioners who offer their Craniosacral therapy, acupuncture, meditation, art and writing therapy, emotional support animal therapy, individual and group counseling to support veterans at their most vulnerable moments and to provide a healing hand to restore a sense of wholeness and purpose to both veterans and their families.

We believe that each of us has the capacity, the right, and the responsibility, to experience wellness, a state of being at ease in body, emotions, mind and spirit, no matter what the circumstances of our lives.

Thank you for visiting. On behalf of our entire Wellness Works family, that consists of our Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, now and always, we thank you for your service to our country.

Please accept our warm invitation to seek enrollment or request additional information from Wellness Works so we may begin to  return the services you and your family have provided and allow us to guide you on your journey toward healing and wellness.

You've stepped forward for us... now it's our turn.
